Charities That Have Caught the Heart of Pre-Press Plus:

At Pre-Press Plus Printing Machinery and in our personal lives as parents we believe not only in giving back to our communities as an act of kindness, but as a matter of obligation. We have been blessed in so many ways and are so fortunate to live int he greatest country in the world, so we feel honored to be able to help organizations, charities and people that hit close to our hearts.

2014 - We took our 7th Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge on March 14th for twenty-one year old Ally Teixeira of Nashua, NH who was paralyzed on December 14, 2014 in an automobile accident. Our work for Ally is not done. We remain hopeful that she will walk again. This Plunge raised just over 8,400.00 for her Trust.

2014 - The 6th Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge for the young family of Katie Hamilton of Brookline, NH. Katie, age 30, was killed in a car accident on Christmas Eve 2013 while returning home from some last minute shopping. Katie left three young daughters and her husband, Liam. This Plunge rasied 6,500.00 for her family.

2013 - The 5th Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge was for Cooper Doucette as his expenses to live his life and rehabilitate were increasing daily. It was also on the same date that Cooper turned 18, February 16th, 2013.

2012 and 2013 we developed a committee that put on two golf tournaments to benefit Cooper Doucette raising nearly 100,000.00 that helped him attend the University of New Hampshire where he is presently majoring in Communications as a sophomore.

2012 - The 4th Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge was again for our Nashua, NH neighbor Cooper Doucette who continues to fight to get his legs back spending countless dollars at Journey Forward, a paralysis treatment center in Massachusetts. Our group turned from three to 4 as my wife Lisa joined us in the chilly plunge.

2011 - The 3rd Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge was done for the benefit of Cooper Doucette of Nashua, NH. Cooper was 15 years of age when he was paralyzed on the first day of summer workouts for football in September of 2010.

2010 - The 2nd Annual Mark Frattaroli Memorial Polar Plunge we took for Hope for Haiti after the devastating Tsunami hit that country. 3,500.00 was raised for that country and their people. This year my daughter and I were joined by my youngest son Miles.

2009 - The Mark F. Frattaroli Scholarship Fund - My nine year old daughter and I take our first Polar Plunge in February of 2009 to raise funds for 16 year old Mark Frattaroli of Winchester, MA who was killed in a car accident of which he was a passenger in September of 2008. We raised 1,300.00 for that fund and donated a memorial plaque to his family who we did not know at the time, but are very close friends with today.

2008 - The Page Family of Lowell, MA. Once again the Red Sox Ticket Raffle allowed us to raise nearly 17,000.00 for a fund set up for the three daughters of Firefighter Kelly Page who passed away at the age of 38 in his firehouse in Lowell, MA.

2007 - The Forbes Family of Pembroke, NH. We traded Red Sox Playoff tickets for a pair of New England Patriot tickets to a December game with the Dolphins so that we had time to run a raffle and raise funds to help a couple with serious health issues so that they could furnish their apartment with commodities allowing them to move around.

2007 - The McLaughlin Children's Fund - We are currently in a fundraising mode to raise money for a family of seven children; five of them aged seven or under, who lost their mother last month just after giving birth to her seventh child. When we started this project our goal was $10,000.00. On April 14th, 2007 we handed the family a check for 23,920.00 and we are still moving forward. This is a foundation that we will support with some of our sales in 2007 and beyond. The photo below shows my wife Lisa and my three children with Keith McLaughlin and his seven children on April 14th, 2007

2006 - Friends of Shedd Park - Our company with the help of a large list of donors raised 12,000.00 for the renovation of a park where I grew up in Lowell, MA in the memory of a lifelong friend Joe Geary, who died in 1986. Joe had worked at the park for many of his teenage years.

2005 - Katrina Victims - Pre-Press Plus donated $1,000 in September 25, 2005 to the American Red Cross Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund. This contribution was double matched by Thompson Financial with whom my wife Lisa works.

2001 - NAMI - We in conjunction with a great group of friends raised 3,500.00 for this great organization in memory of a life long friend of mine , Joe Hogan, who passed away in 1998.
